Job description:

• Experience working in Android Middleware development
• Programming experience in Java, C and C++
• Deep Knowledge in Android Multimedia framework/Streaming technologies NDK MediaCodec, MediaPlayer, AudioTrack
• Knowledge in various Audio/Video codecs
• Experience in Android code base - Application layer (Java), JNI, Native frameworks
• Good understanding of Android architecture and Android HAL Layer
• Good knowledge in Streaming technologies like HLS, Progressive Download.
• Good understanding of Android programming environment using Binders, Shared memory, IPC mechanisms, etc.
• Debugging skills to troubleshoot problems in any layer of Android
• Tools: GIT & Gerrit, JIRA, Android source build system, Android debugging tools
