Job Overview:

Qualcomm IT is seeking an experienced analyst in the IT Operations Management & Analytics team supporting development projects.
We are looking for a talented and motivated engineers who can Act as developer on Network Access Control Automation project and corresponding UI within the IT Operations Management and Analytics Team. The position requires knowledge across different systems and platforms including networking, coding, database, continuous delivery, and deployment.

Design, build and maintain production systems with high efficiency and availability using the combination of software and systems engineering practices
Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services from inception and design, through deployment, operation, and refinement.
Quantify performance of services by measuring and monitoring usage, availability, latency and overall system health.
Scale systems sustainably through automation and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.
Participate in sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems
Address production issues and provide Tier 3/4 on call support.

Required for this position:
BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
2+ years of experience developing systems/software for large business environments
Experience with algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis and software design
Knowledge in one or more of the following: C#, C, C++, JavaScript, Java, Python, or Go
Prior working experience in utility computing and/or cloud computing domain highly desired.
Ability to debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks.
Demonstrated ability to work with global teams across time zones.

Interest in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
Systematic problem-solving approach coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, complex technical environment
"Self-starter" attitude and the ability to make decisions independently
