Azure Devops Engineer - Hyderabad @ Hitachi

Job Description

• 5 - 10 years of professional experience as a DevOps or system reliability engineer

• Deploying, automating, maintaining and managing production systems in Azure to ensure availability, performance, scalability and security of production systems

• Hands-on experience with configuration management and Infrastructure as Code approach (Azure Resource Manager, Chef, Puppet)

• Experience with Docker containerization in production environment

• Experience with CI/CD servers like Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo

• Basic database administration experience (MSSQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle etc)

• Experience with HTTP/S load balancers such as Nginx or HAProxy

• Scripting skills: strong scripting (e.g. Python, PowerShell, Bash) and automation skills

• Monitoring tools: experience with monitoring and log aggregation tools (e.g. CloudWatch, Zabbix, Grafana, ELK, AppInsight)

• Hands-on system administration experience with both Linux and Windows OS

• Problem solving: ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues

• Professional commitment to high quality, and a passion for learning new skills

• Networking: understanding network topologies and common network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP)

• Strong NoSQL administration experience (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc)

• Basic programming skills (any of the following: JavaScript, C#, Java, Python, C++) would be a plus

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory: authentication and security

• Knowledge and experience with container technologies. Docker and Kubernetes are preferable ones

• Engineering production infrastructure

• Continuous deployment support and integration

• Build and support automation tools for infrastructure provisioning

• Handle code deployments in all environments including on-premise installations

• Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards
