Job Description
- Manage multiple teams - Prioritize activities and manage resources across teams
- Plans and manages a broad range of application testing assignments, generally involving high impact, high profile projects
- Design and develop automation test scripts for Regression
- Review response time/SLA for customer facing applications and establish effective performance test strategy
- Develop test plans and test cases, and lead in setting and maintaining the standards
- Collaborate with developers to improve overall product quality by emphasizing defect prevention throughout the development process
- Review test plan and align automation efforts with deliverables/timelines
- Plan and track regression automation plan for multiple applications
- Identify and mitigate risks related to application releases
- Adhere to unit process and suggest ways to improves process efficiencies
- Deals with issues related to application/resources and escalate to management as appropriate
- Participate in all release planning and relevant internal testing meetings to ensure critical SDLC deliverables, testing deliverables and project risks are proactively managed and communicated to key stakeholders
- Create adequate backup by training and mentoring juniors
- Should be able to recommend and evaluate new tools to improve productivity
