Job Description
The incumbent should be a BE / B.Tech Chemical with minimum of 15 - 20 years experience in Chemical / Agro Chemical / Pharma industry in Production department, with a minimum of five to seven years in managerial / leadership positions.
Note: Candidate must speak Tamil. He should handle minimum of 500 manpower in the present or previous company.
Preferable Age Group: 35 - 45 Job Description:
- Planning of raw material / consumables management for production campaign along with team.
- Lean management approach.
- Energy conservation knowledge.
- Safety & Environmental knowledge
- Excellent Leadership skill
- Monitor Batch process operation / unit operation, close monitoring of batch performance and data.
- Follow cGMP practices during the manufacturing activity and operations associated activities with QA, QC.
- Attend the training session of EHS, cGMP, QA, QC, Production, Maint. and HRD.
- Ensure process equipment's/instruments are in qualified state.
- Active coordination with inter-depts. for closure of documentation, timely execution and completion of assigned tasks.
- Ensure the quality system is followed in day today activities. Identify the gaps in the system to improve.
- Execution of manufacturing plan with effective utilization of men, materials and machineries for quality linked productivity.
- Handle client / regulatory audits and address queries related to manufacturing operations.
- To ensure the production is carried out according to SOP and cGMP practices are followed in order to achieve desired quality.
- To monitor the production machineries i.e. integrity tester, PLCs, instruments required for manufacturing.
- To impart the required training to the people working in the department in order to improve their skills.
- Preparation and updating of SOPs, BMR, Log book, protocol and compliance thereof with training of people on the same.
- People management skills provide timely guidance, ensure shop floor connect, boost employee retention via reward & recognition
- Approval of documents such as Change control, Deviation, Recipe locking, SOPs, Additional Stationary requirement/MI/PI form.
