Job Description
We are looking for a senior .NET developer/lead who will be a key member of the overall portfolio, working with a group of skilled and motivated individuals focused on identifying innovative strategies and products that can be integrated into the Platform in order to continue to provide an excellent Client Experience.
Job Background/context:
- The commodities technology team develops and supports the technology solutions for a global client base within Citigroup
- Citi is committed to becoming the world s leading, global digital bank and to developing a full digitally enabled tool set to meet the needs of our clients
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with global Commodity trading desks and understand functional requirements from business users
- Ability to identify innovative strategies to creating a more secure environment and demonstrate the ability to turn these strategies into solutions
- Experience with authentication products and strategies, preferably in the financial services areas
- Minimum of 4 years experience designing, engineering and implementing high volume web based applications using ASP.net and SQL Server, on .NET Framework 4.0 and above
- Demonstrated skills in C# development and Object Oriented concepts
- Proficiency in MVC Framework, MVP, AJAX, JSon, Jquery, WCF, Entity Framework, Version Control system
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to design a solution and communicate the advantages, risks and challenges to stakeholders at various levels of the organization
- Experience with application middleware and network load balancers a plus
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
- Implement Citi best practice (DMM, Engineering Excellence) using devops tools

Knowledge/Experience:
- The successful candidate will:
- Candidate should have 8+ years of experience with C#.net and WCF
- Strong experience in C#.net with WCF using Design Patterns and OOAD & UML Modelling
- Messaging middleware experience
- Desire to implement industry best practices
