Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for a QA Tester to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches. In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. You are also competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality.
Key Skills
Manual Testing, DB Testing, Browser Console, Test cases, any automation tool experience, SQL and DB Testing, API Testing, API Automation, and Selenium Automation.
Certifications: Completion of the Automation-Selenium Certification course will be an added advantage.
Additional Skills: Good communication
Job Description
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
- Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
- Executing test scripts and reviewing results and documenting test cases
- Report bugs and errors to the development teams
- Achieve testing goals using SDLC and STLC phases
- Hands-on using web-based and mobile testing frameworks (ex: Selenium WebDriver)
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects using defect-tracking tools (ex: backlog)
- Help troubleshoot issues and Analysing codes using API testing tools
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Expressive knowledge using version control systems (ex: Git) would be considered an asset
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team
- Experience in project management and QA methodology
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
- Excellent communication and Strong organizational skills
