Job Description

The Unity Ops team provides cloud orchestration capabilities and operational visibility for deployments of Affirmed Network s 4G and 5G core solutions.

As part of the team, you will be working on exciting technology, both proprietary and open source in a virtualized and/or Cloud Native environment.

Responsibilities

The suite of products that the team is responsible for involves use of multiple technologies, languages and software.

Java, Python, JavaScript frameworks, MongoDB, MySQL, Spring, Hibernate, Jersey, JBoss, REST APIs, workflow engines, Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana, Elastic, Kafka, Zookeeper, Kubernetes, Helm, microservices, Openstack.

Architect new designs and develop features for cloud-based applications.

Reproducing, debugging and fixing customer-reported problems.

Bring clarity, create energy, and drive results and deliver for our customers.

Collaborating with escalation engineers and other partner teams across Microsoft to debug, develop, test and ship updates.

Qualifications

Bachelor s/Master s in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience

6+ years of experience developing commercial software with Java

Experience with building testable, high quality software suitable for use by telco and enterprise customers

Experience with Highly Available systems

Detail oriented design, coding, debugging and problem-solving skills

Experience in working on Unix/Linux environment.

Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud environments

Familiarity with Virtualized environments

Ability to drive technical decisions across teams

Full stack development experience is desired

Passion for quality with customer focus
