Senior Software Engineer - UI React - Chennai @ Ducen

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for defining the standards and improvements for the overall UI of the project

• Define base structure and end-to-end UI workflow for the team to adhere

• Work with development team in integrating the UI with the backend services

• Contribute towards creation of components to UI

• Should be able to influence the team in adhering to best practices

• Design and develop user interaction model, information architecture, and user interfaces

• Automation of testing of developed UI components and UI flow of the application

Experience & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in UI

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

• Hands-on experience with TypeScript & OOP in JavaScript

• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles

• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)

• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript

• Knowledge of Isomorphic React is a plus

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs

• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token

• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools

• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.

• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

• A knack for benchmarking and optimization

• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and TFS
