Designation:Sr. Database Architect (MySQL)
Company Profile:Cloud advisory, cloud management services, MS Dynamics 365, custom application development & support; e-Governance services, web development along with hosting and digital marketing.
Location: Ahmedabad (Presently work from home)
Experience:5-7 years
Job Timings: 10:00 am to 7:00 pm
Working days:5 days
Salary:INR 8,00,000 to 11,00,000 per annum
Qualification:BE/ MCA/ B.Tech/ M.Tech
Summary
RequiredMySQL Database Architectwho is having minimum 5+ experience of years.Require MySQL Database Architecture who is having minimum 5+ experience of years
Roles & Responsibilities:
Help write and optimize in-application SQL statements
Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases
Prepare documentations and specifications
Handle common database procedures such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
Profile server resource usage, and optimize and tweak as necessary
Think logically when solving complex business challenges
Implement appropriate indexes and performance tuning for large scale database
Design and develop successful database applications.
Gain an understanding of security systems for web-based programs
Design appropriate Database Solutions according to agreed standards & best practices with minimal assistance; communicates, collaborates, engages, escalates & educates stakeholders as appropriate
Collaborate on System Architecture with peers
Analysing anomalies, identifying root causes, single points of failure, and eliminate those to ensure availability and performance of all databases
Architecture design, Modelling, prototyping and benchmarking DataStore solutions
Skills & Experience:
Candidate must have at least 5 years of experience with minimum 2+ years of proven development experience on any cloud environment
Candidate must have following skill
Strong proficiency with SQL and its popular database MySQL
Experience with some of the modern relational databases
Skilled at optimizing large, complicated SQL statements
Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases
Capable of configuring popular database engines and orchestrating clusters as necessary
Ability to plan resource requirements from high level specifications
Capable of troubleshooting common database issues and debugging issues
Familiar with tools that can aid with profiling server resource usage and optimizing it
Provide timely scheduled management reporting
Hands-on experience on ETL
Desirable experience with any cloud platform like Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google with RDS like MySQL, Aurora MySQL
Experience designing systems that deal with large data sets and a huge volume of transactions
Good knowledge and experience in Scaling, Capacity Planning and Performance tuning
