Roles and Responsibilities of HR
Designs, plans, and implements human resources programs and policies, including staffing, compensation, benefits, employee relations, training, and health and safety programs for a region within an organization. Ensures existing programs in compliance with government regulations. May lead the work of Human Resources Business Partners. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a Operational manager or top executive. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Typically requires ample experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.
