Core Java Developer(Application Development) @ Morgan Stanley

Job Description

You will be a technically proficient and enthusiastic developer, with a desire to work

on front end application development. Role offers opportunity to work on building pricing, analytics and workflow management tools used by Equity Derivatives desks globally.

The role will involve constant interaction with front office business users, analyzing and gathering requirements.
You will support and lead different phases of the product lifecycle including analysis, development and testing.
You will be expected to promote best practices in terms of unit testing, TDD, development tools and technologies.

, 3-7 years of relevant experience with strong experience and expertise in Java
Good knowledge of wide range of technologies and ability to work on different technologies as demanded by business (C#, HTML5/Angular, Scala)
Experience with object oriented design principles, multi-threading, design patterns, frameworks, unit testing, performance / memory analysis, and n-tier service-oriented architecture.
Experience of Agile development techniques and a deep understanding of systems engineering, build and release management principles including continuous integration and continuous delivery.
Prior experience of technology role in financial industry is not a pre-requisite but it is advantageous.
