Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Grade : Map to equivalent India Offshore Grade for 10 Yrs exp
Application Admin L2 Resource is responsible for knowing around and able to support Azure based Portal and Mobile channel solutions to meet business requirements.
General Skills and Experience:
Functional knowledge of Smart City Application Eco Systems.
Proficient in Application Architectures e.g. Web, Mobile, Microservices, API Management.
Proficient in Azure technology stack, good knowledge in Azure SaaS, PaaS and IaaS.
Software development tools and standards e.g. coding conventions, best practices, design patterns.
Collaborate with Product Managers, UX engineers and other Software Engineers to deliver user-facing smart solutions.
Producing documents relating to application architecture, design steps, integration processes and testing procedures.
Software quality assurance process; setting development guidelines and performing code/design reviews.
Experience in Agile based delivery model, support applications and systems developed by the team.
Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and technology developments.
Strong verbal and written communication as well as interpersonal skills.
Technical Skills:
Enterprise-scale application administrator experience in CloudNative environment with subject matter expertise in one or more of the following required-
Primary:
o Experience in Azure Platform as a Service compute solution (Using API Mgmt, Azure Event Grid, Azure Service Bus, Azure Even Hub, Logic Apps, Azure Function, Azure App Service, Azure Database, AzureAD etc)
o Good knowledge on Infrastructure as Code using ARM Templates, Azure Power Shell, Azure CLI
o Microservices design and implementation using container technologies Docker, Azure Kubernates Service
Secondary:
o Application development platforms on public clouds and/or Azure in development languages/application frameworks such as C#, .Net and Python/Javascript frameworks.
o Good experience in atleast one RDMS (MySQL/Oracle/Postgresql) NoSQL DB (MongoDB/CosmoDB/Cassandra)
o Software development practices like DevOps and CI/CD tool chains (i.e. Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Visual Studio)
o Experienced in managing applications in MicroServices based architecture style
o Connect to and consume Azure and third-party services
o Experience on container based application development/deployment e.g: Docker /Kubernetes/AKS.
o Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize solutions
