One Shell comprises the Shell Groups prime digital presence and, as such, it is Shells online shop window to customers and a key business critical function. There is an ever-increasing demand for both incremental and significant enhancements to the One Shell platform, from the External Relations and Marketing departments.OneShell is a state of the art AEM platform that currently attracts 44m visitors annually serving 170m page impressions to approx. 140 unique websites, while also delivering to hybrid mobile applications. Development of one of the worlds leading corporate web sites requires global scope, exposure to leading web technologies plus a formidable competitive edge.
The OneShell team is a globally dispersed team consisting of multiple product owners, a release train manager, scrum masters, solution engineers, business analysts, developers, testers and a strong support team. We have regular interactions with third party vendors for support, design, development and security. This mature BizDevOps team follows a hybrid SaFe-Scrum Agile approach, within OneShells hybrid SaFe-Scrum Agile team, the AEM Back End Developer is responsible for design, specification, development, peer testing and release packaging of solutions within the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform.
The right candidate will have solid experience in website delivery and/or mobile application development specifically experience in creating specification from agency delivered, pixel perfect designs, defining new functionality and enhancements to a large scale multi facet content management system. The candidate may have experience in social media, rich media and other forms of digital/web/online media

A firm grasp of responsive design and mobile application design
- Technical experience:
AEM (preferably 6.1),
Sling (including Sling Models)
OSGI
Sightly
Basic/standard CSS
Javascript (JQuery)
Java 8 (JUnit, Mockito)
Git/Mercurial or any other distributed VCS
Proficiency at all stages of the SDLC, especially in the following tasks
Design
Specification
Development
Testing
Release packaging
- Experience in a DevOps environment
Linux
Apache
Test Automation
Adherence to
Software development standards
Agile methodologies
Quality assurance
Governance standards
The successful candidate may be/have:
Adobe Certification (is a plus)
Experience in a DevOps environment
Puppet (bonus)
Experience with other Content Management Systems
Frame and align client needs to best of breed web solutions based on industry knowledge, including:

Mobile
Third Party Integration (APIs, XML, WebServices)
Browser Capabilities (Responsive Design, HTML5, CSS)
