Job Description :
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science / Engineering or a related field such as Information Security or Computer Science, Information Technology
- 4+ years of experience in software engineer role
- Certifications such as CISSP will be an added advantage
- Good understanding in Java Springs(MVC)
- Technically very strong in Hibernate , HTML5 ,CSS , SQL Server Junit
- Experience with software design, development and deployment, object-oriented software development
- Experience operating in an Agile development environment and familiarity with Agile principles
- Good understanding of Windows Operating systems: Windows XPWindows 7Windows 10Windows Server versions
- Very good software designing skills and usage of tools
- Have a strong desire for quality, and an attention to detail; excellent analytical skills
- Ability to Integrate of 3rd party Security products into NCR applications like McAfee and other leading vendor security products to enhance ATM Security
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment composed of peers and cross-functional members
- Judgment skills needed to assess high-risk areas of a system problem, on which to focus efforts
- Work independently with limited supervision
- Solid troubleshooting problem-solving skills involving complex systems
- Deep understanding of Software Development and Quality Assurance best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
Responsibilities Include: -
- Produce high quality security solutions
- Evaluate existing and emerging technologies and tools to detect, triage and mitigate software security defects
- Track security trends
- Participate and guide pen testing forensic analysis of systems
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to advise on software security.
- Perform threat modelling, guide security testing and fuzzing
- Collaborate with solution architects, developers, solution managers and RD leaders to perform security assessments
- Diagnose, isolate, and implement remedies for system failures caused by errors in software
- Identifies and implements process improvements in Engineering practices
- Provide input and technical content for technical documentation, user help materials and customer training
- Assist others in estimating task effort and dependencies, responsible for team commitments within the Sprint
- Perform security incident response activities and communicate as appropriate to management
- Familiarity with common security issues such as the OWASP Top 10 is preferred
- Ability to perform digital forensic analysis and recommend the counter measures to mitigate cyber-attacks are desirable
- Good knowledge and experience in Digital forensics will be an added advantage
