Magento Developer_3 to 6 Months contract @ iQuest Management

Job Description

Required Experience & Skills:
In-depth knowledge of Magento 2's code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy, and fallback components and must have worked for at least 2 end-to-end eCommerce projects.
Building a Magento site from an approved design to a functional storefront.
Development of new modules and extensions creation.
Good programming skills in Magento including theme & plugins.
Strong knowledge of OOPs.
Ability to integrate Magento2 Theme & Custom Module Development.
Manage live e-commerce websites and their social integration.
Good understanding of Web Analytics and SEO techniques
Proficient in PHP, MySQL OPS, XML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Modules i.e. API integration, Payment Gateways, XML with a focus on standards
Experience in creating applications using a framework such as CodeIgniter, LAMP, Zend, Yii, Laravel, etc.
Understanding of modern UI/UX trends.
Ability to project-manage and work to strict deadlines.
Effective communication skills, self-motivated, team player and ability to solve complex problems independently.
Role and Responsibilities:
Full lifecycle application development to deploy e-commerce stores.
Work on Magento2 integration with external systems viz CMS/ CRM / ERP/ Payment/ Shipping.
Building and configuring Magento 2x eCommerce websites, Coding Magento templates.
Understand client requirements, translate them into techno-functional requirements, HLD & LLD,
Setting performance tasks and goals, troubleshooting integration issues and Updating website features and security patches.
Adhere to project plan and highlight risks/issues in a timely manner.
Provide production support to e-commerce websites, integration with middle/back office systems.
Enhancing skill on new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies.
Follow latest trends on Magento, analyze fitment and propose implementation techniques.
Coordination with Customer Success Manager (CSM) regarding project updates, risks & issues.
Working closely with founders to establish best practices.
Candidate would be required to lead and guide the junior/mid-level developers over their implementations, integrate their works and maintain integrity of application and its architecture
The candidate should be able to work without supervision to complete project task and must possess initiative to address issues and opportunities.
Skills & Qualification:
BE/Btech/BCA/MCA/ BIT or equivalent full-time degree
Magento certified developer (preferred first)
