Lead Software Engineer - Java (3-7 yrs)

We are looking for a lead software engineer, who is passionate about technology and coding. Your primary responsibility will be to own development of scalable systems, with good design, performance, and elegance. You will also be a role model for software engineers in your team. You will closely work with the CEO of the company in your role.

The Successful Applicant Will Have :

- 3 to 7 years of software development experience (scale or core-Java focused experience is better)

- Rock solid programming fundamentals including Object-oriented programming, algorithms, data structures, operating systems, and networking concepts

- Experience in writing complex queries, optimizing queries using query plans

- Exposure to front-end frameworks like AngularJs and Bootstrap

- The natural intuition for software design

- Exposure to Linux system administration

- Basic project management skills to prioritize tasks and maintain a groomed backlog

- Exceptional oral and written communication skills

- Excellent logical reasoning

- Good team player

- Willingness to learn and grow

Bonus points for knowing :

- Scala

- Time series databases

- HVAC systems
