We are now looking for a Test Lead that will help raise/maintain a high level of software quality in design, develop, configure, test for global deployment of relevant IT applications (Microsoft, C#, Angular JS, Azure cloud , VSTS, Test automation, Agile, dev ops). The role requires proficiency of IT Applications Testing and best practices to ensure high quality delivery through the team. He/she should have strong experience on functional/non- functional (perf, automation selenium) testing.
Test Lead will be expected to have experience on Requirement Analysis, Test Planning, Test Effort estimation, Test Designing, Test execution, Defect Management and Test reporting. Will lead a team of Testers in Downstream Global Commercials IT Organization .
In addition, test management experience in Azure /Cloud desirable.
Responsibilities of the Test Lead :
Defines the scope of testing within the context of releases / Projects implementation.
Create Master test plan and test cases for the software releases and define overall testing strategy for testing complex systems.
Develop test resource plan with Project Manager.
Ensure comprehensiveness of test coverage for business requirements.
Setting up of Test management tools for Requirements traceability, test plans, test labs and defects management.
Lead the team of Testers on Project.
Perform all aspects of verification including functional, regression and system testing.
Effectively track and manage software defects and assist the team in root cause analysis and risk mitigation strategies.
Keeps track of the testing engagements per Schedule.
Track test progress, Defect Management and reviews results with stakeholders.
Plans, deploys and manages the testing effort for Projects / release.
Monitor and manage completion of Testing scope and report on the Test Status with findings and recommendations.
Knowledgeable in Various SDLC methodologies including Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid methodologies
Resolves test escalations.
Communicate and coordinate with multiple stakeholders such as Business analysts, Delivery teams, Business Users and Process owners.
Own and manage the testing activities of multiple application or releases throughout its software development lifecycle covering Functional, Non Functional & Regression Testing across System and System Integration Test level. Facilitate and coordinate the right level of UAT,
