Job Description
As a Lead Software Engineer (.Net), youll be part of development team in charge of the Basware InvoiceReady. The team is responsible for overseeing the building of a full purchase-to-pay solution which runs in the cloud. System comprises of an enterprise class web application built on top of Microsoft technology stack with Solid DB as storage repository. Wed love for you to be a passionate, curious and goal-oriented team player with experience in Microsofts technology stack.
If you are creative, collaborative, passionate about software construction and keen to implement industry-wide best practices to deliver great software experience to our users, then you could be our new Lead Software Engineer.

Development
- C# and ASP.NET (MVC, Entity Framework, WCF/Web Api), Angular JS, any ORM framework
- JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, XSD, XSLT
- Any RDBMS
Tools
- Jira, Confluence, Visual Studio, Git
Processes
- Agile (Kanban)
What will you do:
- Work with the other engineers on an enterprise-class high performing web application supporting hundreds of simultaneous users.
- Design, develop and support the applications and services primarily using C#, .Net.
- Perform hands-on development and provide thoughtful code reviews.
- Engage in requirements analysis, leading to high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Recommend ways to improve reliability, maintenance, efficiency, and quality.
- Contribute ideas to the products design and drive a culture of following best practices.
- Act as a role model for the team members and develop them along with yourself.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers to help the team learn and grow.
What were looking for:
- Masters degree in computer science or related technical discipline.
- 7+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Proven hands on experience on high performing web application development.
- Solid understanding of core software development principles and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of software design concepts, patterns, tools and best practices.
- Experience of working in a development team delivering features incrementally using Agile methodologies.
- Experience in full release cycle of enterprise level application.
- Experience in collaboration with off-shore stakeholders.
- C# and ASP.NET (MVC, Entity Framework, WCF/Web Api), Angular JS, any ORM framework
- JavaScript, HTML5, XML, XSD, XSLT, CSS Skills
- Any RDBMS
