Job Description

The position is for an experienced Software Tester to support testing of safety critical Rail Signaling applications/products related to ERTMS/ETCS Onboard (European Rail Traffic Management System/European Train Control System) . The Software Tester will be an individual contributor that will work in a team environment and should demonstrate technical problem identification skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Proven ability to quickly understand existing system and develop system validation test procedures

Create, maintain and execute test cases, develop test scripts in C#

Create and maintain track side data files (input to onboard ATP)

Review test cases, test specifications and reports generated by peers and give formal feedback

Write and maintain clear, precise bug reports to submit to our bug tracking system

Test execution on both PC and target environment

Document and report status / progress

Essential Qualification:

Bachelors Degree in Electronics / ECE Engineering

4-5 years of Software Testing experience

At least 1 year of C / C / C# language experience to develop automation test scripts

Must have black box software testing experience on safety critical applications from any domain

Should be able to understand Hardware and Software integration

Working knowledge in requirement management, configuration management and defect tracking

tools

On top of above, Knowledge on AGILE scrum methodology would be an advantage.
