Around 7 years experience leading test management and automation engagements preferred
Hands on Exp on Java/Sel TOSCA based projects Develop and implement the overall QA strategy i.e. is responsible for test management/coordination from Requirement gathering activities through to Warranty period.
They own and define the Test Plan, estimate time and resource for projects, plan how to deliver the testing and create the applicable testing documents.
They manage all aspects of testing on behalf of the client and are responsible for the quality of the project and as well as functional responsibilities.
The act as focal point for project test matters.
Requirements
Implements best practice testing approaches as per clients requirements Provide input to overall project plan regarding all testing aspects
Manage several projects and test teams simultaneously
Follows agreed approach advises of any deviation from direction agreed Facilitate/Coordinate Risk-Weighting session(s) (large projects only) Create Requirements Traceability Coverage reporting (large projects only)
Conduct Testing Kickoff meeting
Develop Test Plan document Define high level timeline for test events Establish Regular and/or Standup meetings Setup ALM project to steward testing
Determine business requirements to test against Load business requirements into ALM Map business requirements to URT (User Readiness Testing) test cases
Develop test case inventory Test Inventory Readiness Metrics Load test cases into ALM Test PLAN Test Execution Readiness - Integration Testing (IT)
Provide names of testers and defect fixers to Test Lead Request ALM IDs for testers defect fixers ALM Training
Test Preparation, Test Execution Defect Management
Create and maintain test cases into ALM Test LAB Setup End-to-end scenarios in Test LAB (as needed)
Update each test case with: Tester, Dates, Data file, "Ready" Test Inventory Execution Readiness Metrics Test Entry Criteria (Environment prep, Test IDs, Test Data, Batch, etc.)
Determine list of interfaces for testing based on Mission Critical test cases Coordinate the ACC interfaces are established Coordinate with partner apps for testing preparation Set-up IDs for interfaces (e.g., source/target systems, etc.) Conduct Integration testing Regular status meetings (review testing defect status)

Skills and Qualifications
Understanding of project lifecycle and deliverables
Knowledge and experience of different test methodologies
Knowledge of risk based test approach
Knowledge and experience of different test phases
Knowledge and experience of functional testing
Experience in requirements gathering, writing test plans and test cases
Experience of managing several projects simultaneously
Experience of managing test teams and has potential to manage test teams
Ability to use all aspects of a test management tool (fluent in ALM/ADO or similar)
Ability to work effectively in diverse environments
Ability to work under pressure and deliver under tight deadlines
Proactively communicate all issues/concerns raised by client to management
Provides feedback/raises concerns in an effective timely manner
Experience dealing with stakeholders and possesses the gravitas to ensure stakeholder confidence
