Logistics Project Manager - Chennai - Danfoss

Job Description

Danfoss is looking for an experienced leader to fill the role of Project Manager Logistics

The Candidate should have good experience in handling multiple logistics project.

Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the process.

Good faciliitation skills, detailed oriented, possess project management skills & relevant knowledge in Logistics and Supply chain, then you might be the one we are looking for!

Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible to run / manage multiple Logistics projects for India region
• Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Ensuring budgetary, technical, and human resources are allocated properly
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• Engineering with 8-10 years of strong experience in Supply Chain & Logistics with Operations / Project management experience
• Strong system proficiency in SAP, MS Office, etc
• PMP certification, Sig Sigma / Lean Expert
• WMS, WH Automation, Layout design, Distribution footprint study, Logistics Cost down projects & implementation experiences are preferred
• Strong business understanding skills
• Strong communication skills written and verbal
• Proven administrative, leadership skills and management experience
• Strong networking and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate, maintain and develop an effective team
• Collaborate in Global Matrix organization and managing cultures
• High degree coordination and manage others to achieve desired result
