Job Description

About the Role:

You will work with the other development teams to create new features for the product
You will establish detailed, comprehensive and well structured test plans and test cases which are streamlined for automation
You will help debug and fix customer issues and attend live debugging sessions
You will report to the Engineering manager
You will work in and agile development/testing environment
Analyse complex real world data usage scenarios, research and apply the best solution possible.

About You:

You have programming, debugging experience.
About 2 years experience with development and testing software products
Knowledge of fundamentals of networking with protocols such as HTTP(S), TCP/IP, FTP, and SMTP.
Experience with web based applications built using Java and MySQL.
Understanding of SDLC processes.
Familiarity with OpenSSL, IPv4 / IPv6 and encryption standards such as SHA256, AES, RSA will be an asset.
Knowledge of Linux fundamentals and working knowledge on operating systems such as CentOS, Fedora, Ubuntu and Python scripting skills.
Expertise in computer software fundamentals algorithms, data structures
Worked closely to ensure the high quality outcomes for your product.
