As Senior Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of our tit-knit group of dedicated problem solvers. e ideal candidate ould be able to quickly make an impact on e Flipgrid Team and work to evolveowily personalized content is delivered to users. You will collaborate wi researers, engineers, and product stakolders to adopt and implement innovative learning solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Write clean and maintainable code at is efficient and reusable.
• Willingness to work on e entire stack from back to front.
• Contribute in all ases of e development life cycle.
• Follow industry best practices (continuous integration, TDD, code standards).
• Strong ability to collaborate wi front-end clients/consumers.

• Baelor s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• A self-motivated and self-directed work eic.
• A strong working knowledge of building and maintaining Rails applications.
• 7+ years of Ruby or Rails (or similar language like Pyon) experience wi an emasis on building, maintaining, and testing large-scale applications.
• 3+ years of experience delivering solutions leveraging Relational Databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL).
• 3+ years experience developing for and building on Azure or AWS cloud.
• 3+ year experience developing and maintainingi traffic and scalable public facing applications.
• Experience building and working in a Continuous Delivery environment.
• Strong working knowledge running applications on Linux.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of message queueing protocols (SQS, RabbitMQ or equivalent).
• Experience wi Elasticsear and Redis.
• Knowledge of media pipelines (audio and video encoders, codecs and transcoding).
• Strong working knowledge running applications on Linux.
