Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform the full range of advanced analytics and visualization methodologies, techniques and outputs, with a focus on Power Bi
- Set up database environment, database design and data pipeline
- Extract, manipulate, analyze & interpret data from various corporate data sources developing advanced analytic solutions, deriving key observations, findings, insights, and formulating actionable recommendations
- Generate clearly understood and intuitive advanced analytics outputs underpinned by excellent design
- Present impact, insights, outcomes & recommendations to key business partners and stakeholders
- Lead the project management of BI projects, ensuring timely and high quality deliverable with value adding recommendations, clearly articulated key findings and observations
- Supporting, mentoring and training ATL employees
- Participate in best practice sharing and communication platform for advancement of the data analysis discipline
- Produce Best Practice, templates and training documents
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Machine Learning, Physics, Business, or similar degree with a quantitative emphasis
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis in a digitally advanced industry focusing on strategic initiatives, marketing and/or operations
- Must have strong experience in utilising tools and systems on the MS SQL Server BI Stack, including SSRS, and TSQL, PowerBI, Power Query, MDX and DAX
- Experience in administering Power BI permissions, roles, and security and securing data layers based on specific identifiers, including role or agency
- Deep understanding of database fundamentals, including relational database design, multidimensional database design
- Experience in Microsoft Power BI connection types, including Oracle direct, Azure SQL data warehouse, and ODBC and configurations and data flows
- Advanced knowledge in ETL, Data Warehousing, Data Modelling, and OLAP
- Expertise in setting up infrastructure and scalable data pipeline
- Advanced knowledge of best-in-class analytic software tools and languages: Python, R, Tableau, Excel, SQL
- Working knowledge of best-in-class technology 'big data' platforms and cloud based technology is a plus
- Strong critical thinking skills to track down complex data and engineering issues, evaluate different algorithmic approaches, and analyze data to solve problems
- Ability to translate/communicate complex analytical / statistical / mathematical concepts with non-technical audience
- Strong written and verbal communications skills, as well as presentation skills
- Demonstrate excellent experience in project management
- Strong understanding of agile delivery

Experience working in the financial services and healthcare industry
- Experience working in a reputable consulting or data science organisation
- Certification in Data Analysis software and tools
