Job Description

THE ROLE

The candidate would be independently working on developing automation programs on Windows platform, infrastructure services.
He would be responsible for designing scripts in python, bash, or PowerShell to streamline clients infrastructure, object deployment processes and resolve client queries within stipulated timeframe.
Candidate would be a part of 24*7 rotation support (preferably, North America time zone) and would be responsible for designing automation process.
Candidate would be responsible integrate service-catalogue in developing automation with the help of RMM toolset.
Candidate would need to setup new hire onboarding, offboarding automation to connect via third-party applications with local/Azure AD, O365, Sharepoint.

Responsibilities

Developing PowerShell scripts to automate various tasks of OS and Applications running on Windows platform
Research and finding solution to automate complex tasks.
Work independently under limited supervision and applies knowledge of subject matter expert in script Development.
Design, implement and configure automation scripts, workflows as per defined standards
Ensure deployed automations are working as expected and pro-actively fix issues/bugs
Work on scripting Windows PowerShell and Exchange PowerShell, Logon scripts, etc.
Document all actions in accordance with standard company policies and procedures.
Update runbooks and educate engineers with Gravitas standard processes.
Recommend system improvements and work with Gravitas engineering, operations, and client services teams to implement improvements

Skills Required

Windows Servers L2/L3 - PowerShell
Scripting experience in installation and configuration of Windows server 2012,2016 and 2019.
Scripting experience in configuration of Domain controller setup, DFS/ DFS-R for the environment.
Messaging/email services - PowerShell
Must have scripting experience for on-prem messaging services
Must have experience in designing scripts on external applications and cross-domains
Must have experience in designing scripts for Exchange, O365 and hybrid environment
Public Cloud platform
Must have scripting experience to integrate third party services with Public cloud platform (Azure Active Directory), O365, SharePoint
Other technologies
DFS File share configuration and troubleshooting on DFS platform

Advantageous Skills

Designing, Implementation and configuration for Microsoft Exchange Server (2010, 2013 ,2016 and O365) with Active Directory 2016 R2 and 2019 setup Hybrid or on premises environment
Experience with any automation or process orchestration tools like Connectwise PSA / Labtech RMM will be added advantage.

Academic Requirements

Graduate Degree Preferred

Note- Candidate should be good in communication & comfortable with rotational shift/Night Shift
