Position Summary:
As our Payroll Specialist you will be responsible to manage and own our International Payroll activities. The activities will include opportunities like processing salary for the International APAC NCR employees, coordinating with our payroll vendor and leading them to perform better, working on statutory payments, coordinating with our finance department on journal posting, reconciliation books keeping. As a payroll specialist, you will be directly coordinating with our employees as well and that will help you to become Customer Centric professional. This position will report to the APAC Payroll Regional Leader and can be based virtually in India.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensuring payroll transactions are processed efficiently including but not limited to: tax, investments, salary calculation, statutory payment handling
Accounting and reconciliation of payroll data, regular journal preparation
Collecting, calculating, and entering data to maintain and update payroll information
Compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages
Resolving payroll discrepancies by directly coordinating with our employees and payroll vendor
Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures
Developing ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed
Monthly statutory remittance towards Payroll
Responds to employee queries through ServiceNow within agreed SLAs
Yearend activity and lodgment towards payroll
Participating and leading internal external audit activities - IGAAP SOX
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Commerce
3 years of experience in accounting / payroll reconciliation
Established knowledge of Indian payroll & policies
APAC payroll related experience will be an advantage
Audits handling experience is highly preferred (IGAAP and SOX)
