Our Client a Reputed NGO based at Andheri E, Mumbai URGENTLY requires -


Post : Commercial Operations Specialist

Department : Finance
Division : ISAME & Africa

Location : Andheri E, Mumbai

Qualification : Bachelors degree (Commerce/ Accounting/ Economics) / Post Graduate Dip. in Financial /Operations Mgmt

Reporting to : Regional Manager ISAME & Africa

Supervises : Commercial Operations Co-ordinator

Experience : 4 to 5 years of experience in Accounting (Profit and Loss management), Data and Vendor Management, Project Management, Process Re-engineering

Salary : 8 lakhs


International & Domestic travel as and when required


The position will serve as a single point of contact for all administrative tasks relating to accounting, process and compliance, agreements and vendor onboarding. Will also be responsible for all regular offline and payment gateway transactions within the ISAME & Africa region. Will be a stakeholder in the inventory held and or moved in the ISAME & Africa region.


Job Profile

  • Manage end to end operations of all accounting requirements for the ISAME & Africa office
  • Liaise with external agencies, accounting firms, audit firms, tax consultants on all matters pertaining to the ISAME & A Office functioning including but not limited to all the LCI entities in India.
  • Manage vendor contracts and commercial procurement.
  • Handle Day to Day Banking requirements of the ISAME & A office and queries raised if any.
  • Present Business Analytics, MIS and data insights to help in making better business decisions.
  • Work on Projects and Business Process Reengineering for impact-oriented projects for the ISAME & Africa
  • Identify and rectify process gaps on a continual basis and look towards continuous improvement.
  • Coordinates the completion of the balance sheet account analysis.
  • Reviews and analyses general ledger accounts and related financial statements for reasonableness.
  • Coordinates and verifies the entering of selected journal entries to the general ledger.
  • Reviews and updates monthly closing procedures
  • Reviews supporting schedules to ensure that the Associations accounting practices are being maintained, ie bank reconciliations, investments, emergency reserves; makes recommendations where applicable.
  • Reviews accounts receivable aging and vendor statements for problems
  • Maintains documentation for compliance to policies and procedures for audits.
  • Experience with project management and business intelligence tools
