Roles and Responsibilities
- Experience in Software Development Skilled at Operating in a wide range of Platforms like DevOps, AWS, Azure and Linux.
- Having experience in DevOps/AWS Software Configuration Management which includes Build Automation, Continues Integration, Continues Deployment, and Continues monitoring using Automation Tools.
- Well versed in software production, development life-cycle and release of software products.
- Expertise in DevOps, Configuration Management, Cloud Infrastructure, Automation it includes Amazon Web Service (AWS), Chef, Jenkins, Git, Maven, Graphite, Grafana, Signal FX etc.
- Used Chef Cookbooks, recipes, roles, run list to deploy web applications, application servers and vendor applications.
- Installed and Monitored the infra using Graphite, Grafana, Signal FX and created alerts to ensure the stable infrastructure.
- Administering Jenkins and secured Jenkins with role-based access controls.
- Involved in Installing Jenkins on a Linux machine and created a master and slave configuration to implement multiple parallel builds through a build farm.
- Good working knowledge in CI & CD and building a pipeline using Jenkins.
- Have hands-on knowledge with Ansible and writing Playbooks.
- Installed and maintained the GIT repositories.
- Working knowledge on GIT usage and best practices.
- Experience in configuring and updating the servers using configuration management tools like Chef, and Experience in Containerization tool like Docker.
- Have working knowledge on Design and Implementation of VPC.
- Good understanding in ECS (EC2 Container Service) for cluster management.
- Good knowledge in Route53 and DNS service.
- Good knowledge in Auto-scaling and load balancing concepts.
- Have working knowledge in maintaining AWS services from CLI.
- Have knowledge in setup and configuring Monitoring tool.
- Excellent analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
- License lifecycle management : Upload, display, and remove licenses
- View GitLab system information, and information on background jobs, logs, health checks, requests profiles, and audit events
- Communicate with user community about the updates, upgrades, outages, releases etc.
