Job Summary

  • In the role of Support Engineer, you will work on resolving issues across applications spanning multiple geos and helping our users have a great experience when they reach out to us for any trouble shooting.
  • This position requires background in hands-on application support, technical and people management.
  • The successful candidate will be managing applications across multiple geos and working on cutting edge technologies.

Job Requirement

  • Engineering graduate, preferably in CS / IT from a reputed institution, with strong foundations in Computer Science
  • Typically 3-4 yrs. of Application support managing multiple applications, multiple geos, across various time zone
  • Interested in learning new technologies and building minimum level of expertise in the same
  • Must have worked with multiple stakeholders and handled incidents
  • Ability to handle upset customers and help them in resolving issues faced
  • Should have strong Technical Depth breadth.
  • Good attitude, Analytical skill
  • Experience and knowledge of cloud enabled services and applications are a plus
  • Recommending solutions and guiding product users through features and functionalities
  • Supporting the development teams with identifying issues and applying fixes
  • Good knowledge of SQL and an understanding of Databases
  • Would be good to have experience working on ASP.net , Java based Application
  • Basic understanding of the Servers/Network should be able to work with other Technology teams like Network /Server

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer queries in a timely and accurate way, via phone, email or chat
  • Helping to resolve any outages by working with various teams in a collaborative manner
  • Creating and maintaining the knowledge base for our applications which would help resolve issues faster
  • Understanding various technologies that we work with, developing some level of expertise in them over a period of time
  • Analyzing commonly occurring issues and providing insights on required fixes
  • Managing incidents working with multiple teams till issue resolution.
