Job Description
The Senior Consultant DPP will help our clients in designing and documenting data privacy framework, policy, process and guideline, conducting privacy risk and impact assessment and perform assessment and evaluation of our clients against clients organization data privacy framework, policy and guideline including various data privacy regulations, law of lands such as GDPR, CCPA etc. and other applicable industry standards such as NIST, ISO etc. The Senior Consultant performs these reviews remotely, at office and sometimes at client sites. The Senior Consultant works with other security consultants, project manager, delivery head and other Panacea teams to ensure delivery of the projects on time with quality assurance.
Identification of business processes and systems that relate to personal data for applicable privacy law such as GDPR
Design and document data privacy and protection framework, policy, process, and guideline etc
Designing and implementing data protection and privacy programs for our clients supporting their business
Help clients identify privacy-related, legal, or business risks and assist them in the implementation of the appropriate organisational and technical counter measures
Supporting and guiding our clients in adhering to the relevant local and international regulations e.g. GDPR
Conducting Risk Assessment in connection with data privacy and Privacy Impact Assessment
Understand, Assess and Recommend solutions for privacy gaps in digital, technology, functional, business areas including cyber, data analytics, applications support, and infrastructure
Develop and provide awareness training to our clients to achieve compliance and foster a culture of data privacy within the organisation
Deploying processes and tools to help detect and prevent privacy breaches
Assisting clients in privacy related incident response activities
Timely and appropriate communication to the respective stakeholders
Bachelors degree in IT or Law or any specific in the data protection and privacy domain
4-5 years of industry experience out of which 1-2 years in data security and privacy, consulting, security audit
Knowledge and experience with relevant data protection and privacy laws and regulations (e.g. GDPR, CCPA) and industry standards and frameworks such as NIST, ISO
Possession of relevant certifications from industry related organization such as IAPP, DSCI, ISC, ISACA, ISO etc. are preferred
Expertise on GDPR, Privacy, HIPPA, etc.
