Roles and ResponsibilitiesWHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We're looking for Senior Big Data Developers who are Hand-on Programmers and Designers to join our team of global Big Data and AI experts. They should possess an architectural acumen and should be able to devise a Data Architectural strategy along with independently handling design decisions for the Big Data Solutions we develop for our reputed clientele.
WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED?
5+ years of relevant experience working hands-on with big data frameworks and technology stacks, overall more than 5 to 10 years of experience in software development, with preferably a background in Java/Scala/Python programming. A typical fit for the roles we are looking for is a techno-savvy candidate willing to learn multiple technologies and apply them during the job, as based on the fast-changing and rapidly growing market for Big Data, Machine Learning and AI. S/he should be an implementer, designer and an architect who can write software for large scale data management, and work on the data processing workflow for varied demands in Big Data processing projects. We prefer Big Data expertise along with Cloud implementation background in the profile. It is so very obvious that we need expertise in Big Data frameworks developed on multiple deployment environments like On Premise Clusters, Clusters on Cloud, Edge and Fog deployments, and so on.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Strong experience in Java/Scala/Python for Big Data development, Java 1.8, Scala, Python Strong Hands-on experience in at least one cloud technologies Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform. Experience with on-prem vs cloud data distribution. Strong Knowledge of Big Data frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive, Parquet, Avro etc.Very strong on at least one stream processing frameworks like Apache Kafka, Apache Storm, Apache Flink, etc. Good Knowledge of orchestration tools like Airflow, Oozie etc Good experience on different types of databases types viz. RDBMS, NoSql, Graph Experience in Large Scale design, implementation and operations of OLTP, OLAP, Data Warehouse, Data Lakes and NoSQL data storage technologies is preferred Database knowledge preferably in PostgreSQL, Cassandra, HBase, MongoDB is preferred. Along with a deep understanding of CAP theorem and making decisions on database choices. Experience in Big Data architecture paradigms viz. Data Hub vs Data Lake, Kappa vs Lambda, Actor paradigms-AkkaExperience in Software Architecture paradigms viz. SOA RESTFul, SOA Microservices, Serverless, Distributed systems-Paxos, Consensus, Quorum, Checkpointing and concurrency Strong fundamental knowledge of OOPs, Data Structures and Algorithms with an understanding of optimizing algorithmic implementations for large scale data processing requirements
