Automation Test Specialist - Pune - Amdocs

Job Description

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Total Experience - 6 years
• One (1) plus years of experience in creating and executing Automated Tests (Java)
• Ability to explain complex technical solutions to technical and non-technical audiences, and to connect technological solutions with measurable business value
• Agile Project Management tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps integrated with development tools that enable release pipelines
• Understanding of code and branch strategies to enable software delivery
• Collaboration and communication with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to identify risks early and ensuring bugs/defects are highlighted earlier in the software delivery lifecycle.
• Ability to work as a team player in cross-functional Agile teams and bring their skills and capabilities to ensure quality outcomes and improved customer experience based on Organizational Business outcomes
• Engaged in testing integration of complex systems on multi-layered architecture including presentation, application, and database layers
• Review and refinement of acceptance criteria and estimation techniques to plan work
• Identify opportunities for testing by suggesting continuous improvements and implementing solutions to perform continuous and efficient testing
• Reporting and dashboard capability providing test progress.

Must have experience we are interested in but not limited to

• Programming experience - C#, Java
• Proven automation testing experience in backend systems (APIs).
• Experience with TestNG & RestAssure (Advantage)
• Agile Project Management and defects handling tools such as JIRA
• Content Management systems, e.g. Confluence

Nice to have experience

• Knowledge of Cloud solutions, e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
• MS Power Platform solutions
• DevOps and Release pipeline understanding
• Knowledge of CI/CD
