Job Description

Requirements / Must have:

- Experience with CICS - Experience in executing tests on the mainframe - Individual who wants to pursue testing as a career - Familiarity with legacy mainframe systems

- Undergraduate/Graduate degree and 8 years relevant experience

- Ability to effectively communicate

- Experience with problem determination and troubleshooting issues

- Troubleshoot problems to isolate root cause - Submit and update product bug reports for development

- Replicate issues in-house and set up for developers to work on Preferences /

Nice to have:

- Experience in UNIX - Experience with Mainframe application, in particular batch jobs, file system (Sequential, VSAM, GDG)

- Experience with Mainframe DB2, IMS, IDMS, ADABAS, other mainframe databases

- Experience with open systems databases and third party products such as DB2 LUW, Oracle, Sybase, MySQL, MS SQL Server, IBM MQ Series, CoSort, Syncsort - Expertise with shell scripting (i.e.
sh, ksh, csh, bash)
