Job Description

The software protocol stack (Stack) team at Azcoms India Development Center owns the design, development and delivery of the 4G and 5G protocol stacks and applications for Azcoms own products as well as for Azcoms design services customers. As part of the 4G/ 5G Stack team, you will participate in all phases of the software development life cycle and be responsible for delivering high quality, optimized software components and subsystems for the Access Network and Core Network elements. You are expected to handle technical interactions with Azcoms global customers off- site and on- site. You should have a solid grip on software architecture and design best practices, and possess in- depth knowledge of the 4G and 5G domains and applicable technical standards. Software Engineer/ Senior Software Engineer (1- 4 years of relevant experience) Lead Software Engineer/ Senior Lead Software Engineer (5- 8 years of relevant experience) Technical Skills Required Strong in C/ C++, Data Structures, Algorithms, Design Patterns Strong in OS, networking, IPC, multi- threading Strong in LTE layer 2 stack design and implementation, e.g. RLC/ MAC/ PDCP Exposure to LTE layer 3 and OAM stacks Exposure to eMTC and NBIoT protocol specifications, design and development Experience of working in state of art software development environment, including IDE, development automation tools, version control and artefact management Additional Expectation from Technical Leaders Project Management, control and reporting in an agile environment Soft Skills Required (all positions) Excellent analytical skills and problem- solving ability Excellent writing and verbal communication skills Role adaptability to suit the companys business requirements The software protocol stack ( Stack ) team at Azcom s India Development Center owns the design, development and delivery of the 4G and 5G protocol stacks and applications for Azcom s own products as well as for Azcom s design services customers.
