     Our team needs you We are part of the Silicon Engineering organization within the Connectivity group under DPG and we are looking for an individual with proven technical leadership experience to help build our System Validation team We are a strong vibrant crosssite team who define create and develop the environment and test suites that we use to validate Ethernet products like NIC at the IP and Full chip level and working on cutting edge of compute and networking using latest Custom CoresBus architectures

As part of this team you will help build a team that will work collaboratively with our peer SV teams RTL hardware design verification software engineers and platform teams to define and implement requirements for emulation prototyping and post silicon validation throughout the product life cycle Silicon Engineering organization within the Connectivity group under DPG is seeking exceptional talent for future role of System Validation Leader to work with a diverse team designing our next generation Ethernet based Network Interface SOCs someone who is passionate to improve the way we solve complex problems through teamwork direct contributionsIn this position the candidate would play a Leadership role in the system Validation for SoCs within the Ethernet product Group EPG The lead is expected to actively collaborate and drive the preSi validation on FPGA platform and PostSilicon Validation execution activities for the SOC

The candidate will be responsible to define with the scope of system level validation on PSS platform as well as on postSi platform

The candidate will lead all the technical requirements for platform level validation and work with design FW SW tools team to align and stage the validation goals towards tapein during preSi phase and towards PRQ during PRQ goals Drive and help build forward looking strategy for improving validation coverage at the system level Creates defines and develops system validation environment and test suites Uses and applies emulation and platform level tools and techniques to ensure performance to spec Responsible for the development of methodologies execution of validation plans and debug of failures Requires broad understanding of multiple system areas and requires interfaces with Architecture Design and Presilicon Validation teams in improving postsilicon test content and providing feedback for future ondie debug features

Qualifications:

 Bachelor's/Master's in Hardware Engineering or Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 12 - 20 years of experience

 Candidate Must have high degree of Hardware architecture/ microarchitecture experience in CPU/SoC/Chipset/and some of the subsystems areas given below

 Good programming skills in C/C++/Python/Perl

 Hardware and/or software development/debugging skills

 Solid understanding of the Validation and Debug flows of a complex SOC

 Experience in developing test plans

 Ability to work well on a team, but also self-driven

 Hands-On experience of complex SoC sightings and exposure to running cross-site Task forces

 Knowledge on Debug Tools for JTAG, on chip trace features and ability to debug via OSC/LAs etc; Usage of any Post-Si debug tools (e.g., logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, things like Coresight, etc.)

 Knowledge of ARM processor and ethernet domain is a plus

 Pre-silicon Design / Validation knowledge is a value add.

 Passionate to find bugs, triage, debug and drive resolution of failures to HW, silicon firmware bugs.

 Excellent written and oral communications and experience working in a cross functional and cross site team environment are essential. Ability to interact directly with customers and multiple levels of management is a must
