Job Description

Installation and upgrade of Mainframe Automation products and tools( OPS/MVS + Tivoli SA)

Analyze and implement automation requests

Develop new automation procedures for daily/routine tasks.

Develop simple, sustainable and repeatable solutions for automation requests

Perform problem determination for automation issues

Skills

Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical capability and problem solving skills.

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or relevant technical degree.

More than 5 years of work experience in a Mainframe Engineering role.

Required Technical Skills:

o Working knowledge of automation tools OPSMVS, Tivoli SA

o Experience in message suppression and automation of message response

o REXX, CLIST and JCL coding

o Incident, Problem and Change Management

Desired Technical Skills:

o Experience in converting Tivoli SA to OPSMVS

o Experience in automating multi-image environments

o Experience in customizing Status Display Facility

Additional requirements

o Provide rotating On-call support

o Provide off-hour support as necessary
