Job Description
Skill Set Required:The candidate will be responsible for building technology solutions to support our corporate compliance group. The candidate will have an opportunity to work alongside an established team of developers and data architects and will assist with the work on compliance portal enhancement towards building global compliance application sand also work on building AML solutions (trades and wires surveillance).
The ideal candidate should have experience in database designing, development and architecture and scripting language.
The candidate is also expected to have worked in financial industry (preferably compliance technology)and well versed with trading and financial knowledge.
The candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision, and be able to work under pressure to debug and resolve any application related issues.
Compliance issues can quickly escalate so being able to quickly and efficiently resolve any issues is a must.
Candidate should be prompt in doing data analysis and producing the reports on need basis and automating the manual processes.
The candidate will have exposure to senior management in compliance so understanding compliance & financial concepts and being able to translate them into design and building solutions is required.
Must be a self-starter, a dependable partner, and team player
Skills Required(with at least 5-7 years of experience in the following)
Strong experience in relational database design and development using Sybase ASE 16 and SQL server SQL 2019.
Experience in writing, performance tuning and maintaining Sybase stored procedures, views and triggers.
Should be good in PERL to develop, enhance and maintain scripts that connects to database and do file handling.
Should have experience with PYTHON scripting.
Good to have experience in Unix, Shell scripting.
Should have experience in reporting tools like Business Objects Reports.

Experience with Compliance AML (Trade and Wires Surveillance) reporting
Java, J2EE, REST services, Javascript Grid like JQGrid, Data Tables etc.
