Job Summary
The incumbent will be responsible for prioritizing and driving performance improvements that will have the biggest overall impact on the business results and on delivering operational excellence to customers, by challenging the status quo, coaching, and embedding a mindset of continuous improvement to achieve performance excellence.
In this role you will be responsible for:
  • Manages the deployment and embedding of new, critical capabilities brought by the business transformation portfolio of programs in line with Market, BG or Function's needs
  • Design, develop, and implement the lean improvement roadmap for your area of responsibility, linked to the business Hoshin and strategic priorities.
  • Support the business in resolving issues, using the known lean and 6S tools and the CI methodology, Kaizen events and 6S projects as a way to improve Quality, Delivery, Cost and Inventory within your assigned geography / business perimeter.
  • Manages the deployment and embedding of new, critical capabilities brought by the business transformation portfolio of programs in line with Market, BG or Function's needs
  • Can maintain CI methodology and tools on one or more specific areas.
  • Can decide and arrange specific Train the Trainer Sessions
  • Can calibrate, assess and coach the organization in determining CI Maturity
  • Support the business in resolving issues, using the known lean and 6S tools and the CI methodology, Kaizen events and 6S projects as a way to improve Quality, Delivery, Cost and Inventory within your assigned geography / business perimeter.
  • Ensure your kaizen events - 6S projects are properly planned / executed / sustained
  • Asses key business metrics and situations from a 'Site Leader's' point of view and engage with the MT and middle managers helping them identifying opportunities where lean, 6S and CI tools can be used to improve such metrics and situations.
  • Can maintain CI methodology and tools on one or more specific areas.
  • Can decide and arrange specific Train the Trainer Sessions
  • Can calibrate, assess and coach the organization in determining CI Maturity.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
  • Degree in Business or Engineering required; Master's Degree preferred, PMP certification is desirable
  • At least 8+ years of relevant working experience.
  • Be capable to drive change with sense of urgency and bias for action
  • Mastery of Philips Excellence Practices, esp. Lean, Continuous Improvement
  • Understand P&L to drive Performance and Business Impact
  • Manage a Program or Project across B/M/F
  • Deliver Outcome through others
  • You have a strong and demonstrated passion for Continuous Improvement
  • You know how to motivate and engage people
  • Be proficient in time and project management
  • Be capable to drive change with sense of urgency and bias for action
  • You have a positive attitude, always
  • You possess great networking skills and the ability to enthuse colleagues in Lean Thinking as a business necessity.
