Lead automation engineer @ Siemens

Job Description

Requirements: B.Tech/M.Tech from a reputed institute. Having at least 5 years of experience of automation on Unix/Linux. Has worked on multiple and able automation and web based solutions. Duties to be performed: Provide solutions to continuous requirements of automation needs for PV as well as development teams Develop and maintain web interfaces for ease of system use and monitoring of various tasks Support and keep automation system working for continuous regression run Required Skills: Very good knowledge of linux system and making use of the same for automation. Unix internals knowledge is a big plus in the role. Good knowledge of scripting languages perl, python, bash. Good knowledge of HTML related tools/technologies (CSS, Javascript, Ajax, JQuery). Good Knowledge of grid and LSF to launch and manage jobs Knowledge of web development frameworks like Python-Django. Knowledge of database system MySQL and postgresql. Admin knowledge will be an advantage Knowledge of build system and GIT version control is desirable Good communication and interpersonal skills as the role requires communication with various internal/external parties. Knowledge of Emulation platform is good to have.
