What you'll do:
Ready to make people's financial lives better The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer role showcases your ability to provide technical prowess across quality and automation aspects of software development of modern web stacks. You are empowered to innovate, communicate, collaborate, and deliver with other engineers, product managers, and designers. You will play a crucial role in enabling the online experiences people have with their money to solve for a mixture of user experience automated testing frameworks, cloud based distributed system testing, and performance testing as we work towards ensuring outcomes that make big impacts. This role will:
- Showcase constructive communication, collaboration, and delivery skills
- Work on a focused team of highly capable engineers, and designers using Agile engineering practices, modern continuous delivery capabilities, and product analytics
- Dive deep into technical, and business-related areas to enable end-to-end tests based on deep understanding of how users interact with our apps and services
- Collaborate with other engineers, UX designers, and product managers to build on each other's ideas to craft effective solutions, and breakdown business problems into actionable work items
- Advocate for quality and actively listen to product engineers to enable them to build with quality every day
What you'll bring along:
- BSCS or equivalent work experience.
- 10 or more years of relevant experience building automated tests
- 6 or more years of relevant experience evaluating business requirements and technical systems to formulate testing strategies
- 2 or more years contributing to automation frameworks based on selenium or cypress for web and api test tools
- 2 or more years enabling build automations with build tools (Jenkins, bamboo, circle ci)
- Performance testing automation experience
- Thoughtful and constructive code review capabilities
