Job Description
We are seeking highly qualified Software Validation Test Engineers to join our world class Ethernet Product Group EPG under Connectivity Group We assure and deliver leadership Ethernet products that delight our customers with bestinclass performance quality and support
You will join a bestinclass validation team relentlessly driving the highest quality of EPG products with the most optimal cost via continuous improvement learning and product mindsetIn this role your daily agenda will be anything but ordinary On a regular basis it will include but not limited to Strategizing test approaches to achieve optimization of the resource and coverage
Validatingdebugging programmable network processor or microprocessorReviewing and analyzing the requirement documents and architecture specifications to understand the product Interacting with marketing and architecture teams to understand the scalability and performance aspects and customer use cases Driving validation and coordinating validation strategy author programmable testplanDeveloping automation strategy and applying state of the art automation technology to automate testcases and executing automated debug and automated triage
Managing and guiding remote team members to get test plan defined and executed according to plan as well as providing technical guidanceIndependently being able to manage and coordinate works and plan with other BU counterparts at IntelLeading or managing SW validationtesting projects
Candidates must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates
Requirements listed below would be obtained through a combination of Industry job relevant experience internship experiences and or schoolworkclassesresearch
EducationBachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Math Physics or related field
Minimum Qualifications6 years of experience in validation and debug of network software2 years of experience in open stack programmable device programmable pipeline DPDK SDN controllers or network protocols 3 years of experience in OOP design with scripting languages like Python on various OS platforms5 years of experience with software testing and test methodology ie functional integration usage model regression or performance testing 4 years of experience in various testing tools like iperf netperf or Ixia packet analyzers
Preferred QualificationsMasters degree is preferred
