The
Purpose of This Role

The purpose of the role is to define and deliver in
building the Digital Automation Platform for Advanced Process Solutions (APS) .
APS provides strategic solutions to enable Digital transformation within
Fidelity. The Lead Software Engineer will work on design, development and implementation of all aspects
of the XTRAC (Fidelity Workflow Engine) platform for both internal and external customers.
This includes new features implemented in Java, AngularJS, REST and Spring.
Protractor is used for front end test automation and Cucumber for services.

You will be
developing server/ services in development team

You will be
Writing high quality code using REST and
SOAP API / Webservices

You will be using
JENKINS for pull requests (code reviews) of developers and test engineers and
give constructive feedback with automation scripts.

You will be participating
in story grooming and sizing, ensuring stories are ready to work on in the
sprint.

Have good
communication and interpersonal skills, be motivated, be results oriented,
customer focused, and have strong problem solving skills.

You will be working
on AGILE SCRUM Methodology

Knowledge of AWS
cloud computing

Your Experience in
writing Java and working with Git/ Stash is essential

Your Experience of
coding with CORE Java , REST and SOAP , Spring CORE is highly desired

Experienced Agile
(Scrum, Kanban) practitioner. Pair and/ or mob programming is mandatory.

(APS) is to make service simple . Provides technology, tools & techniques
to enable Fidelity and its clients digital service excellence. With process
re engineering services and a standardized toolkit with the latest process
management and digital service technologies, APS enables Fidelity, its
associates and its clients to run efficiently and deliver a frictionless
experience from start to finish. APS team is involved in managing the
infrastructure for Robotic Process Automations and maintaining, developing
XTRAC workflow engine. XTRAC is Fidelity's workflow product. It uses configured
business rules to automatically route work items to the right people, for
processing. Work items are defined to take a path that mirrors the company s
business operations, with different paths for different types of work. Using
XTRAC, people inside the organization can initiate work from customer requests,
attach notes, correspondence, and documents, and split, transfer, link, or
suspend work items
