System Administrator

Location: Bangalore

Required skills:

In-depth knowledge of Linux: Red Hat, CentOS, Debian, etc.

Hands-on experience in administering databases like Oracle and Mysql. Experience in DC

DR setup is bonus.

Experience in setting up Clustering like NFS and GFS on Linux distributions.

Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, DHCP, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP, and SNMP.

Strong knowledge of backup and recovery policies.

Familiarity with Virtualization, load balancing, firewall, Concepts.

Familiarity with networking principles including Routing, Switching,

Subnets, IP, TCP, UDP, STP, PSTP, and VLANs.

Patch management for Windows and Linux when necessary.

Experience with various other Microsoft software and services such as Active Directory and

Group Policy Administration.

Setting up and monitoring security policies.

Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages.

Additional certifications (RHCSA and CCNA) will be considered an advantage.

Availability to occasionally work after hours or on weekends in support of a company or IT

projects.

The candidate should be available in Bangalore and willing to relocate to different cities on a

temp basis as per the project needs.
