Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant,DevOps Engineer
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of a fast-paced team designing, developing, integrating and supporting integration solutions for some of our Fortune 500 customers. You will leverage your formal education in the relevant field and your professional experience to apply professional concepts to work on targeted tasks. You will follow standard practices and procedures applicable in your area of work to complete your task/deliverable with high quality under limited supervision. Your established aptitude to achieve this while supporting other members of the team and improving your own knowledge and skills will define success for your role.
Your passion for learning, implementing and the ability to ask the right questions, apply analytical skills, problem solving skills, technical skills and reliably complete deliverables with high quality is of utmost importance. This job is the fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position where you get better at your trait.
Responsibilities
- Deployment of code and containerized applications in multiple environment including hotfixes and code from normal iterations
- Build and automate the deployment of infrastructure, services, and applications.
- Monitor systems status and health checks to help maintain operational excellence across our software platform
- Create and run tests to determine optimal load and performance of the platform
- Refresh Production Data to testing environments as necessary
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
. Bachelor&rsquos degree
Skills Required
- Professional experience as DevOps / System Engineer in System administration
- Experience implementing CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins) across multiple environments
- Experience with automation tooling (e.g. Ansible)
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, and JavaScript
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Full understanding of software development lifecycle best practices
- Self-motivated individual that possesses excellent time management and organizational skills
Good to have skills
- Experience with delivery of a SaaS product
- Strong UI/UX experience.
- Strong understanding of micro-services and related architectures
