Job Description
Must have hands on experience to develop and execute test scripts using Python Design and develop automation plans based on input requirements and technical specifications. Implement and maintain detailed concise test plans Engage and support team to deliver in-sprint automation Define, implement and follow coding standards/ naming conventions in Test automation Working closely with the QA Manager and test architect, assist in developing, organizing, and maintaining QA methodologies. Familiarity with version control tools GIT, SVN Design and develop automated test tools (simulators, serial test etc.) Automation test results analysis and logging of failed results in JIRA after the script is executed Participate in project, specification, and design reviews to ensure on-time delivery Initiate and contribute to improvements in test productivity to include test coverage analysis and optimization for systems under test Ability to gain extensive knowledge of Gilbarco product software Track software defects to closure Support lab trials by installing, testing, and troubleshooting software Responsible for automation deliverables for product module/ product linesTotal Experience in years: 5-8 years Graduation/ Degree: Any Graduate Post-Graduation/ PGDM: M.Tech/MCA [ not mandatory] Hands on experience in PoS application or embedded products Experienced in hands-on automation coding and execution for at least 7 years Experience with scripting using Python, Java Experience in industry standard test automation frameworks. Preferably Robot Framework Experience in creating re-usable functional libraries, creating batch scripts, execute tests on hardware such as card swiper/reader etc Experience in embedded domain, Point of Sale and Payment systems automation is an added advantage Basic knowledge of databases such as SQL Server, Oracle Experienced in software testing of client/server Flexibility in manual testing of functional and defect on need basis Involved in understanding the SRS and giving feedback on the same Good communication skills both verbal and written Oil industry experience is a plus. ,
