Job Description
Job Title: Database Developer/Sr Database Developer
Location: Gurgaon
Experience: 4+years
Duties & Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities of this role would include owning, tracking, and resolving database-related incidents and requests, participation in the design of database architecture for current and future products.
Writing code and performance tuning of complex stored procedures, functions, and maintenance scripts.
Troubleshooting and resolving database integrity, performance, blocking, etc.
Experience of MySQL minimum 2 years mandatory
Knowledge of performance tuning tools (Profiler, DTA, PerfMon, DMVs, etc).
Responding to database-related alerts, escalations and working with research/development teams to implement strategic solutions.
Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications
Capable of multi-tasking and working with a variety of people.
Create complex analytic queries on large data sets
Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real-time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
Hands-on support of large databases, including, but not limited to, monitoring, re-indexing, general database maintenance, extract- transformation-load, backup/recovery, documentation, and configuration.
Skills and Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a MySql / MongoDB database administrator with Development.
Experience designing logical and physical databases for OLTP and Data warehouse.
Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler, and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, SSRS, or any open-source tool.
Proficient in writing complex and efficient SQL queries in a timely manner
Ability to perform database/ data manipulation to generate required result sets.
Good experience with designing and documenting relational databases.
Ability to identify and troubleshoot Server related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space, and other resource contention.
PL-SQL Development ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Code and design (stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints).
Must have 1-2 years of experience as a developer with a strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practice.
