Sterlite Technologies is looking for Product Engineer / Developers in Java for Product R&D Team for Ahmedabad or Pune Location and having Virtual Drive on 24th July

Job Description

Position / Designation: Java Developer / Sr. Developer

No of Positions : 25

Location: Ahmedabad or Kharadi, Pune


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design and implementation of new software development and enhancement efforts
  • Learn, diagnose and implement features and bug fixes
  • Implement coding patterns and evangelist of best practices
  • Coordinate with tech leads and software engineers working on related deliverable
  • Implement debugging techniques and ability to find root causes of problems
  • Create database schema and optimize data handling and storage
  • Should be able to work with the front-end, middle-ware and back-end tiers of our platforms
  • Produce highly usable systems that are high performance, easy to maintain and engineered to meet business needs
  • Mentor Junior team members
  • Provide technical expertise to product or project team
  • Communicate ideas and develop strategy through presentations, demonstrations and specifications
  • Assist the product or project manager in creation of functional and technical documents

Education and Experience:

  • 2.5+ years experience in leading Product development and projects teams
  • Strong knowledge of software product development processes
  • Should be having sound knowledge in Core Java, Hibernate and Spring Framework
  • Should be strong in Software Designing and should be able to demonstrate his/her work along with Design Patterns
  • Should have knowledge of cloud platforms such as OpenStack/AWS/ Google cloud /Docker/ Kubernetes
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills
