Job Summary
The Solution Architect-PCB, D&T, Hardware & Embedded Solutions requires in-depth knowledge of PCB development for embedded and Hardware systems, using EDA tools. Typical job responsibilities include (but are not limited to) working with the product management groups from both local & global locations to understand the build of the design, analyze and implement the designs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Possesses understanding of the complete product cycle of PCB making from requirements, circuit design, component selection, Schematic Capture, simulation, Layout Analysis and Design, Validation of Layout & Gerber, PCB Fabrication, PCB Assembly, PCB Fabrication and Acceptance Criteria
Proper interpretation of design specifications and realization of hardware
Using knowledge and expertise, solves complex problems, recommends architecture and processes, recommends changes to existing architecture and processes.
Helps drive agile and DevOps culture of implementation and product management culture.
Understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures and safety regulations.
Stay updated with latest design techniques.
Assist in preparing test procedures and developing test fixtures to verify PCB functions
Design PCB layouts to develop high-speed and reliable circuits is must.
Develop design documentations and requirements specifications for assigned projects
Review and recommend improvements to existing designs
Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.
Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience: Bachelors degree / Diploma in Electronics
Minimum 5 years of related work experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Expertise in the use of EDA tools like Allegro, Orcad, Eagle for total multi-layer PCB design
Should have handled vendor follow-up
Able to comply with the companys safety and quality policies at all times.
Physical and Travel Requirements Less than 10% travel may be required
Occasional on-call work required
