Senior Software Development Engineer - Chennai @ ExecBoardinAsia

Job Description

• The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for design, develop, test, automate and deliver features that enable and enhance the user experience of Gogo Airborne Broadband System.
• Must understand a broad view of the Gogo airborne network, its interfaces to the ground and customer services, and take design decisions that complement the evolving system software architecture.
• Primarily responsible for the Airborne System Software design and development.
• Responsible for evolving and scaling the platform for any WAN technologies (ATG/ ATG4/ Ku/ 2Ku/ etc.) code and maintain scalable, modular, fault-tolerant, and portable software for the Gogo Airborne Broadband System running on a target platform using Embedded Linux solutions.
• Perform technical design reviews, code reviews, unit test, and system test reviews.
• Interact with the Systems Engineering Architecture teams to understand and design for the evolving project requirements.
• Interface with the Product Management to understand the product roadmap and revenue-generating plans.
• Interface with the operations teams to understand the challenges to keep the business running.
